Wikipedia describes an MC as someone that is a host of a public or private event whom usually presents and speaks to an audience, while generally keeping the event moving. The dictionary explains it as, A person who acts as host at a formal event.
Since every event or reception needs direction, a good MC is vital to the success and flow of the event. All direction may be lost without a good Master of Ceremonies.
A well prepared Professional MC’s can make the transitions of the event flow effortlessly while maintaining control of an audience by speaking with confidence.
The DJ / MC you do choose will be the one representing you as your spokesperson on a very important day. An MC simply can not
represent you unless he / she knows you and knows you well, your personality,
style etc…It’s imperative that your MC understands your style, personality & tastes.
